Mr. Sudarsan joined Calvert in January 2016. He is passionate about building product-based businesses that rely on fantastic design, and user experience simplicity. He has a successful track record in establishing product-market fit and effectively managing product and business P&L in healthcare, digital media, technology, and education industries.

Mukund’s previous positions include Head of Content Product & Partnerships at Amplify, a company focused on bringing data-driven instruction and next-generation digital curriculum to K-12 public education, and the Director of Product Management for Thomson Reuters. Mukund was also a Co-Founder of Aswini Nursing Home, a hospital aimed at addressing the healthcare needs of an under-served, semi-urban population in India.

Mukund received his Bachelors in Engineering (Honours), Electronics Engineering at the Birla Institute of Technology and Science in Pilani, Rajasthan, India and his Master’s Degree (M.S) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California. He received his Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Sloan School of Management. Mukund lives in Columbia, MD with his wife and 2 daughters and enjoys reading books on history and economics, exploring unique cultures, and teaching his daughters to spin jazz-house music.
