Victoria Pylvainen
Senior Vice President, Services
Victoria Pylvainen is a veteran educator and executive level education leader with 15 years of online and blended learning experience. She came to Calvert having successfully launched online programs in public and private schools. Through her leadership, Victoria’s teams have launched project-oriented learning courses in grades K-8, and have received the first ever Quality Matters (QM) approval for professional development courses with 100/100 points. Victoria has been a volunteer with the iNACOL Program Committee and held a position with iCivics Educator Network. Victoria holds a Bachelor of Arts in History, Spanish, and Secondary Education from Albion College, and is working on her Master’s in ISD and Technology with an emphasis in e-learning.
Originally from Minnesota, Victoria is enjoying the opportunities provided by Baltimore living while working in her role as SVP for Services at Calvert. She works closely with the Calvert teams focused on customer support in the areas of technology, academics, professional development, and instructional services. Passionate about creating collaborative online classrooms, Victoria encourages educators to become virtually visible in the online world with parents and students.
